Appearance Failures

  • Back staining: optimize dispersing agent, bath cleanliness, and rinsing
  • Uneven effect: stabilize loading, chemistry, temperature, and machine action

Dimensional Failures

Technical controls & troubleshooting

Process Engineering

  • Define liquor ratio, loading factor, bath temperature, pH, time, rotation, and chemical sequence
  • Validate desizing before abrasion or enzymatic treatment of denim
  • Select cellulase type and activity to control surface cleaning without strength loss
  • Neutralize enzymes and oxidants completely before softening and drying
  • Control hydro-extraction and dryer temperature to prevent creasing and excess shrinkage

  • Update SOP, control plan, training record, and preventive-maintenance requirement
