Finishing Flow & Workmanship

Finishing converts sewn output into a clean, functional, presentation-ready garment through controlled trimming, cleaning, pressing, checking, and repair.

Receive garments by line, style, colour, size, bundle, and quantity
Trim loose threads without cutting bartacks, seams, or fabric
Remove approved repairable marks using controlled chemicals and tools
Inspect inside and outside using a fixed sequence and adequate lighting
Verify labels, trims, measurements, appearance, and functionality
Segregate defects and preserve repair and reinspection traceability

Pressing & Form Control

Pressing combines temperature, pressure, moisture, vacuum, dwell time, and handling to set shape without damaging the material.

Approve settings by fabric, colour, finish, interlining, print, and trim
Use bucks, forms, templates, and protective shoes where required
Avoid shine, glazing, scorching, seam impressions, and colour change
Control garment dimensions while shaping collars, plackets, hems, and seams
Allow garments to cool and dry before folding or measurement
Check equipment surfaces, steam quality, vacuum, and thermostat accuracy

Safety & Detection

Final safety controls prevent sharp objects, broken needles, contamination, and unsafe attachments from reaching customers.

Operate a documented broken-needle reconciliation procedure
Use calibrated metal detection at the buyer-specified sensitivity
Control rejected pieces in a locked and traceable process
Verify button, snap, rivet, eyelet, and ornament attachment strength
Inspect sharp points, edges, cords, loops, and small parts by product market
Maintain detector challenge records at start, intervals, changeover, and end

Folding, Packing & Cartons

Packing protects the garment, presents it consistently, and delivers the exact commercial assortment.

Use approved fold dimensions, tissue, clips, collar support, and inserts
Confirm polybag type, gauge, size, ventilation, seal, and warning print
Verify hangtag, price ticket, barcode, size sticker, and placement
Scan barcodes and reconcile style, colour, size, quantity, and destination
Pack solid or ratio cartons according to the approved assortment
Control carton dimensions, strength, sealing, markings, weight, and moisture

Final Audit & Troubleshooting

Shipment readiness is confirmed through final random inspection, packing audit, and documented release.

Apply buyer sampling and AQL rules to completed packed goods
Check appearance, construction, measurement, function, safety, labelling, and packing
Pressing shine: reduce heat/pressure and use protective pressing
Mould risk: dry garments, monitor moisture, and control container conditions
Barcode failure: correct print contrast, quiet zone, damage, or data mapping
Hold failed lots until corrective action, reinspection, and authorized release
