Create a global, standardized packaging and labeling system that ensures buyer compliance, accurate labeling, correct folding & packing, damage-free presentation, efficient carton utilization, and sustainability alignment.

Packaging Categories

Garment Packaging

  • Select bag material, gauge, dimensions, closure, ventilation, and recyclability from the approved specification
  • Protect embellished, coated, delicate, and moisture-sensitive products with approved separators or tissue
  • Control suffocation warning language, print size, placement, and destination-market requirements
  • Keep packaging clean, dry, odor-free, undamaged, and compatible with the product
  • Verify finished pack dimensions and presentation against the sealed standard

Labelling & Product Identity

  • Match main, size, care, fibre, country-of-origin, compliance, price, and security labels to the order
  • Verify wording, translations, symbols, fibre percentages, legal entity, and traceability codes
  • Control label orientation, placement, seam capture, stitch security, and skin-contact comfort
  • Reconcile UPC, EAN, SKU, GTIN, RFID, and human-readable data with the commercial system
  • Perform scan verification before use and at defined packing intervals

Folding & Presentation

  • Use approved fold dimensions, orientation, tissue, collar support, clips, and inserts
  • Allow pressed garments to cool and dry before folding
  • Align features and artwork without creating pressure marks or distortion
  • Control assortment-facing presentation for retail-ready packs
  • Check fold consistency using a template and approved sample

Carton Engineering

  • Specify board grade, ply, flute, dimensions, compression strength, moisture resistance, and recycled content
  • Validate carton size against product pack, quantity, weight, handling, pallet, and container constraints
  • Apply approved tape, strapping, sealing pattern, and tamper controls
  • Print destination, order, style, colour, size, quantity, carton sequence, gross/net weight, and dimensions accurately
  • Protect cartons from crushing, water, contamination, and excessive void space

Transit & Warehouse Performance

  • Conduct drop, vibration, compression, humidity, and climatic tests where risk requires
  • Validate pallet pattern, stacking height, edge protection, stretch wrap, and container loading
  • Monitor carton and garment moisture before sealing and shipment
  • Use desiccants only when approved and correctly calculated
  • Inspect container cleanliness, dryness, odor, damage, and seal integrity

Sustainability & Compliance

  • Reduce material at source without compromising product protection
  • Use verified recycled or responsibly sourced content and retain evidence
  • Design mono-material, separable, reusable, or recyclable packs where practical
  • Control restricted substances, inks, adhesives, coatings, and heavy metals

Polybag Standards

Polybag Requirements

  • Approved polymer or alternative material and verified recycled content
  • Gauge and tolerance defined by buyer specification—not a universal value
  • Dimensions permit the approved fold without crushing or excess movement
  • Ventilation or perforation meets product safety and moisture requirements
  • Closure, adhesive, print, warning, recycling mark, and traceability are approved
  • Material is clean, odor-free, non-staining, and chemically compatible

Polybag QC

  • No holes, weak seals, contamination, haze, or damaging wrinkles
  • Correct bag, warning, recycling claim, size, and closure
  • Garment remains dry, aligned, and presentation-ready
  • Pack passes barcode/RFID scanning where applied

Carton Standards

Carton Requirements

  • Board grade, flute, ply, burst or edge-crush value, and compression requirement specified
  • Internal dimensions match approved pack plan and utilization target
  • Maximum gross weight and ergonomic handling limits defined
  • Moisture content, storage condition, stacking, and transit environment controlled
  • Printing, marks, tape, straps, palletization, and sustainability claims approved

Carton QC

  • No crush, puncture, wetting, contamination, odor, or print error
  • Correct assortment, quantity, orientation, dividers, and void control
  • Correct sealing and carton identification on required faces
  • Gross/net weight and dimensions verified
  • Transit validation completed where required

Packaging Engineering

  • Size packaging to protect the garment while minimizing excess material and freight volume
  • Verify polybag gauge, dimensions, ventilation, seal strength, print, and suffocation warning

Troubleshooting

  • Contain affected packing output and identify the last verified-good checkpoint
  • Use 5 Why and fishbone analysis across material, machine, method, people, and environment
  • Compare failed output with the sealed sample, specification, and machine settings
  • Correct the root cause rather than relying on repeated inspection or repair
  • Run a controlled trial, validate results, then release the updated process setting
  • Update SOP, control plan, training record, and preventive-maintenance requirement
