Sustainability intelligence turns environmental and social commitments into measurable controls across material, chemistry, energy, water, waste, emissions, worker conditions, and traceability. Claims must be supported by defined boundaries, credible data, and evidence.

Execution procedure

  • Map facilities, suppliers, processes, materials, chemicals, utilities, waste streams, permits, certificates, and product claims.
  • Establish a baseline with meter, invoice, production, and laboratory data using defined organizational and operational boundaries.
  • Prioritize legal compliance and high-risk impacts before marketing claims or distant reduction targets.
  • Assign reduction projects with owner, baseline, target, capital, expected saving, verification method, and completion date.
  • Review actual normalized performance and investigate data gaps, rebound effects, burden shifting, and supplier nonconformance.

Practical case

  • Water per garment falls 12%, but total water rises after volume growth. Report both figures, isolate process savings from production mix, and set an absolute-risk plan for the water-stressed site.
  • Verify the result from meters and production records before communicating the claim.

Operational limits must follow the approved buyer specification, product risk assessment, legal requirements, and calibrated test method. The approved tech pack takes precedence over general guidance.
